We're down to the Final Four, with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line. I went 1-3 last week, so I need to make up for it. After thinking long and hard, I still don't know. But a decision must be made so here we go......
Bears vs. Saints. In the NFC Championship, The Monsters of the Midway take on the feel good team of the year. Rex Grossman played a little up and down again last week, and the Saints weren't exactly dominating against the Eagles.... But, the Bears will get to the big game for one reason: home field advantage. If this game were played on a better field, the Saints would really test the Bears D, but instead of the cushy Superdome, the Saints' passing will be stopped by the 12 th player - Mother Nature, and the Bears will line up to stop the run. Hope you like defensive struggles, because this one will be ugly. Bears 14-7.
Patriots at Colts. Then there is the AFC Championship in the RCA Dome....... Peyton vs. Tom, Belichick vs. Dungy, The Overachievers vs. the Underachievers....... eh, whatever. Maybe last week's win over the Chargers showed that the Pats are a team of destiny. Or just that they got really lucky. The Colts have had two pretty dominating performances , even without Peyton at his best, and they are at home. Ever see Peyton Manning have 3 bad games in a row? Me neither. Whoever wins this one will be Champ, but I think this might be the Colts year. Colts 31-21.

well, you got one right...the Colts. ya see, the storyline is already set up...the Saints finally make it...after Katrina. Manning finally makes it and plays daddy's old team. So I say, Saints 24 Bears 20. Colts 34 Pats 21.
Ditto bobby, though it will be ugli, unless there is another fog bowl in Chicago, the Bears suffer a letdown a la the Seahawks.
