Knotts Calls On Sanford to Resign ... And Somewhere, A Tree Falls In the Forest.

I was going to call this post "Jakie Knotts Needs to Quit Masturbating", but I deferred... Good call. But, what else do you call it when you demand something from someone that you KNOW is not listening? Stroke Me, Stroke Me ......

Today, word is that Sen. Jakie Knotts, a close ally of Lt. Governor Andre Bauer, gave credit to the smear attack on Bauer to Governor Mark Sanford. Sounds like Jakie reads the blogs, eh? Sensing that Knotts was the ultimate arbiter of common sense, Sanford immediately resigned. RIIIIIIIIGGGGHHHHHTTTT ! Sanford has yet to give an official response, most likely because even God sometimes takes a little while to speak to Sanford, but my guess is that the answer will be No Thanks.....

Seriously, why is Knotts wasting his time? Sanford and Knotts are not buddies, so the odds of Jakie Knotts having any effect on Sanford is none to none... Let's find an equivalent for this... have you ever heard me call on Jim Clyburn to do this or do that? Nope. Never, ever, ever, never, ever!! With so much to disagree on, why haven't I? Because i know Jim Clyburn doesn't listen to me, or you for that matter, and asking or telling him to do something is a waste of my time. It's political masturbation.... That is another bit of advice for today - a sort of Political Serenity Prayer. Words to live by, sanely......
