We used to post the MegaVote updates for Congress every week, but frankly, it wasn't worth the time, so we stopped a while back. Jamie Sanderson still does it, so you can check there for what the latest is in DC. Whatever Jamie's opinion is on it, just flip it backwards, and that's what we probably think . ;)
However, every once in a while, you get gems like this week's, that let in you in on just how out of touch DC is, and what their priorities actually are. Here is the agenda for this week on The Hill.....
1. Raise the debt ceiling
2. The North Central Idaho Water Facilities Act
3. Establishing the Castle Nugent Historical Site
For your infromation, Castle Nugent is in St. Croix, which is the US Virgin Islands..... Ted must be very proud. That's it.... We have water in Idaho, putting up a plaque in paradise - which will no doubt need a congressional panel to go there on a 'fact-finding mission' for a week or so, and getting the US Goverment's credit card limit raised... Wonder if Cher has learned how to say 'Haitians' yet.....

Idaho?...we are spending money on a water facility in state with more cattle than voters! Did I miss an amendment somewhere or do cattle now have a vote?
When you are in a depression with a massive deficit you have to eliminate some potential worth while plans until the funds are there. If any of the representatives from SC vote for this they should be beaten with a branding iron..after they get branded with it...teg
