Just a quick note to wish you all a happy Flag Day today... As you can see, Old Glory is flying proudly from the front porch - just like it does every day. You still have a few hours of daylight to get it out there in case you forgot. While almost all other holidays are for a person or group of persons, only Flag Day and Independence Day celebrate America itself. The difference is the Fourth of July has been replaced with barbecues and fireworks, whereas Flag Day is still about our national symbol...
