With the move to the new apartment, you may have noticed that we have a little more time on our hands... We've been kicking around some ideas for the blog, and we just recently noticed that this year is the 150th anniversary of the beginning of The Civil War, aka The War Between the States, or the War of Northern Aggression - whichever term you use. It gave us an idea....
We're going to periodically mark the dates of major events related to the war.. We'd really like to take a few trips to the sites, but since most are in Virginia or further south, weekend trips will be tough. We'll see....
No, January 1861 was not a huge month in Civil War history, so we'll be starting pretty lightly. So, to kick it off, we'll test your Civil War General knowledge - as in Generals. We give you the picture, you name the general. Good Luck !
