SC6 Takes a Tumble In the Ratings ....
Most bloggers like to talk about other people falling from grace. Here at SC6, we prefer to pick on ourselves when we go down the drain..... This week's influence rating from BlogNetNews came out, and we have slipped to Number 20 - our lowest rating since we first cracked it in the Spring. We seemed to have been permanently entrenched between 8 and 12, but that ended this week....... and we're not surprised in the least.
Considering we haven't even BEEN in South Carolina since mid-September, it's a miracle and a testament to our skill and work ethic. But, we did have plenty of time on our hands. That's all over, but we still have that mental defect in our brain that wants everyone to love us. We take great pride in our high ranking, especially since our focus has been on the 6th District - not always the easiest place to find fresh material. How many times can you say "Jim Clyburn is an Idiot" without being redundant? We've tried out best.
Wiht nor really having time to write blog posts 24/7/365 anymore, we expect that SC6 will soon drop off that Top 20, like a moldy oldie on Casey Kasem's show.... Time for a Gust Avrakatos moment again ......... We'll See. No, we won't stop if we drop off the radar in the SC Political Blogosphere. After all, we do have more experience than most people in the field - and we can be pretty damned funny sometimes. It is time that we don't worry about the love so much anymore. Check it out - maybe we're finally growing up a little..... NAH !!

Mike-keep in mind that even 12 hours away from you still have a better grasp of the political landscape than many of those who still live here. Keep on writing,we will keep you up to date on the latest comings, goings, and the latest surprises yet to be made public. Yes I know that sounds like the tag line for Soap Opera Digest. But then again politics around here often resembles a bad episode of Days of Our Lives...teg
