Sumter County Chair Keeps Up With Leno By Changing Studios ....Like many Republican counties in the 6th District, Sumter has seen a huge increase in attendance. It's a great thing to see citizens take an interest in what goes on in Columbia and Washington DC. heck, we don't even mind seeing Democrats pay more attention to events going on....
For years, the Sumter County GOP has been held at the old Ramada Inn on Washington Street. I could remember having 25 people was a decent crowd. Luckily, and with the help of Chairman Braden Bunch, those days are long gone..... and so is the Ramada. Thursday's meeting will be the same time as usual, 7PM, but it will be held at the Elks Lodge at 1100 Old West Liberty Street. It also has a place to eat, but the capacity is probably triple of the Ramada. Hopefully, Braden will have a microphone to be loud enough, but I'm sure he can scream with the best of em....

Sumter is turning them out and Florence and Williamsburg and Clarendon. Our attendance is way up. Our last meeting was 50 and I missed and several of our regulars were out sick. Got to love that Braden.
