Congratulations to Julian Young, who was selected as Florence County's new Executive Committeeman. Julian had overwhelming support, winning the three-way election with a majority on the first ballot. I missed the meeting yesterday, and I do wish I could have made it, but long term plans are tough to change. Kudos also go to Licia Stone and Tommy Phillips for running as well.

The Florence County Republican Party had 3 highly qualified candidates running for state executive committeeman, anyone of them would have made a great committeeman. Our Party is so blessed to have such fine members willing to step up and do their duty for the party.

And thank you to Tommy and Licia. I know they will continue in their steadfast pursuit of republican ideals and bring their own talents to the table for the benefit of our Party, our Community , our State and even our Country in these perilous times.
Thanks to all who turned out for our August GOP meeting held at Young's Plantation Inn on US HWY 76 at I-95 exit #157. They have a wonderful resturant there, if you have not tried it...you should..
We really appreciated their hospitality.
