New Study Reveals That Women Aren't As Think As You Drunk They Are....

Someone's Gonna Need a Bigger Bathroom ....

Hey, this girl kinda looks like my niece, but that's not her bathroom. OK, enough kidding aside. There used to be a time when MADD would almost exclusive be dealing with men as the usual drunk drivers. But times are changing a lot....

According to a new Department of Transportation study, the rate of women being cited for DUI has gone up 30% in the past decade, while men have dropped 7.5% over that same time. Granted, men still make up over 80% of all DUI's, but that is down from 92% ten years ago. Clearly, there is a trend, and cops are starting to focus on it more..

Now, the main question is what is the cause of this? Of course there are numerous factors, but experts are pinpointing stress as a major cause. With more entering the marketplace than ever before, and rising higher in the Old Boy network, there are stresses with it. Just like in the old days, when a hard day at work is done, many are going out for that after work drink - or two, or more. And some turn to alcohol to cope.

But with anything there are other reasons. People are marrying older, so they basically are stretching out their youth, and drinking for many plays a part in it. But, I have an additional reason, and you can blame it on the guys: Chivalry. Back in the old days - you know, the 80's - you didn't meet girls at the bar, you picked them up at their house, and you made sure they got home OK. The Player-Hookup mentality is leaving the responsibility of getting home back into the ladies hands, and some of them are getting busted. A little consideration by the guys might help - unless they're drunk too.....

When DUI stats for an entire gender, regardless of race, age or income goes up like that, it's a red flag. Yeah, there's a real easy way to stop this trend - don't drink and drive, whether you're a man or woman. Like most things , it's a matter of personal responsibility - you can't legislate common sense - but someone will probably try to .....
