Court Cases Questioning Obama's Nationality Are Everywhere....
For months preceeding the Election last month, I got tons of e-mails and article questioning if Barack Obama is really an American born citizen or not. Of course, the importance of this would be that he'd be ineligible to be President. What a lot people didn't know is that there are actual lawsuits filed by people to find this out..
One of them just made it to the US Supreme Court, who just denied an appeal request from a New Jersey man who claimed that since Obama's father is a Kenyan, that would make Obama a British subject - and not able to be President. The case was turned down by the Supreme Court without comment. That usually is a sign that the claim is ridiculous. PLuv could likely give us a more correct legal interpretation, but my guess is that just because you father was born in Kenya, that doesn't make you a Kenyan citizen.
The more discussed of the two is if Obama was even born in the US at all. A lawsuit from a Pennsylvania who claims that Obama was born in Kenya, not in Hawaii as he claims. He also says that Obama could be an Indonesian citizen, since he lived as a boy. Well, you can only have one or the other, dude - which one is it? Even Obama's Kenyan grandma has claimed he was born in Africa - OOPS!
However, the more credible evidence - like actual documents - seem to support Obama. Hawaii state records do have his certified birth as August 4, 1961 - they're even stamped with an embossed seal. Also, there are official birth announcements in hawaiian newspapers recording his birth. Either there has been a tremendous coverup to hide everythign here, or........ Obama was born in Hawaii as he claims.
That case hasn't been heard by the Supreme Court yet, but expect another denial. So, as unhappy as some might be , Obama will be President next month....

I think we can all agree that if there was any chance in hell he was not an actual citizen, Bill and Hillary would have been all over this. No?
No doubt, but I still get e-mails on this every once in a while...
