Don't laugh, that was a true story when I got a call from my car loan company. Nothing like getting a call from a guy who has the whitest name on Earth, but a Indian accent. But, that is how the world and offshoring works...
There once was a time when you didn't worry about your job being cut and sent overseas. But, the global economy has changed, and the fact is that the U.S. is at a distinct disadvantage from other countries. India , Mexico, China.... We're losing a lot of jobs, and the key to future security is to have a job that CAN'T be sent overseas. I'd like to think that I have one, because someone has to listen to the customers at the dealership and explain all the repairs, right.
But, nothing is set in stone. However, here's an article from HotJobs that lists some jobs that are almost impossible to outsource..

If that's the case, then we need to open a bunch of Indian restaurants, so the info comes thru us!
that's why when you ask for no tomatoes at the drive thru, you still get them.
