The Pecan Festival Is Coming to Florence Soon...

This is giving notice a little bit in advance for most of us, but for those of you from campaigns that read this blog - and judging by the e-mails I got from the Donation Deadline post that I got, many of you do - I'm just in time..

The 6th Annual Florence Pecan Festival is coming to town on Saturday November 7th, which is just after election day, but not if you're running in 2010.. Sure, that's a while away, but if you want to get a booth to sell stuff, or - AHEM!! - have a booth for your candidate, the cutoff is this Saturday.

There will be plenty to do, and to eat, and it starts off with the "Run Like a Nut" race that morning. If the weather is good, which it usually is, there should be a real nice crowd filling Downtown Flotown. For information, call the Florence Downtown Development Corporation at 843-665-2047.
