To conclude our visit to the William Floyd estate, we have a picture of Floyd's grave in the family cemetary. The stone appears to be the original from when he died in 1821, at the age of 87. The engraving is barely readable, and it's cracked in half. But, it represents the Mark of a Patriot - time may wear away the mark we make on life, and eventually we break and die, but the deeds accomplished by truly great people live on well past their passings... That's why I blog - so SC6 can be eternal... God forbid.
