It's not officially online yet, but Team McMaster is reporting over $1 million in donations to it's campaign this quarter. It appears that Henry Mac's team definitely was working overtime in those last few days of the fundraising period. That's a lot of boxes of M&M's folks....
In all fairness, this was McMaster's first official quarter, so whether he can keep up this kind of pace remains to be seen, but going seven digits, even for a startup, is impressive no matter how you look at it. You need money to run a statewide campaign, and McMaster certainly has a good chunk to play with now..... No word yet today on any other campaigns.....

Mike-if one goes strictly by the money and one year out is a long time it looks like its gonna be Governor McMaster;Lt.Governor Ard and Atty General Wilson. Since all three of these have strong ties to Florence and/or the Pee Dee/Northeastern SC 2010 could be the start of a good time for us here. Maybe we wont have to say were just past no where anymore!
And don't forget, with Congressmans Clyburn and Spratt wielding all the power in DC, we should clean up! How is that working out for us?
As much as I like Henry he aint gonna win. He will be like Beasley and what he gets in the Primary is where he will stay at. That is when Andre will take it.

Anon241-I agree that Andre will be Henry's toughest competition,but if those two face off in a runoff Henry Mac will beat Andre. The Lite Gov is good but there comes a point where you just can not keep pulling close one out and the end. This is politics not football and cardiac kids have a limited lifetime in politics...
