It Sure Isn't The Barenaked Ladies Best Year...

Drug Busts, Now a Plane Crash. I Thought My Summer Was Tough..
It's a long way from 1998, isn't it? Ten year ago, the Barenaked Ladies were one of the hottest acts in music. Everyone had a copy of "One Week", didn't they. Well, the pendulum goes up, and sometimes............
On Sunday, BNL singer/songwriter Ed Robertson (the guy with the big blue eyes), was involved in a crash of his Cessna 206 floatplane in Ontario, Canada. Apparently, he caught a gust of wind, which threw his plane and stalled it out. Luckily, he landed on a grove of maple trees (It IS Canada, after all), and hit the ground safely, although his plane was totalled...
This follows singer Stephen Page (the chubbier one with the glasses) being busted in July in a Syracuse, NY apartment for possession of cocaine. OOPS !! Clearly, these guys need to get off their vacation - it's safer for them to be stuck in a bus on the road apparently.... Better things can only happen...
