Don't mess the NFL - that is the lesson for today.... Chad Johnson has figured that out. For the past year, he's been thumbing his nose at the NFL by trying to legally change his name to Ocho Cinco. Of course, that would be a moot point if he ever had his number changed...
Last year, the NFL wouldn't allow him to have Ocho Cinco on his uniform unless he bought every uni that had 'Johnson' on it. At $300 a pop, Johnson decided to wait.... This year, Johnson's was legally changed, so it looked like the NFL was stuck. But, leave it to someone in their research department to probably make him sorry he did it.
Well, it seems that when Johnson applied to change his name, he filled it out as 'ochocinco' - as in just one word. So, the NFL says if he wants it on his jersey, then THAT is how it will appear. Good Luck with that, Ocho Stinko !!!!
