It WAS Sunny, Then........
Don't know where this rain came from... It was pretty sunny, and was still shining when it started. Nice, as Forrest Gump would say, "Big Ol Fat Rain".....
At gametime (about 1:00PM), in SW Virginia, yesterday, it was pushing 85, up in the mountains. Less than 20% leaf color change.
Tropical disturbances in mind, it is perhaps better to have the heat energy over land, rather than feeding a tropical depression in the inter-tropical converngence zone.

Fear Not, Bobby's Accu-Weather forecast says it'll turn into Autumn on Thursday.
here in minnesota it already is fall the leaves are beautiful and the temperature is low fifties
