That's Right, There's Only ONE OVERTIME in the NFL..
Sometimes things happen in life that make you wonder how the hell someone knows so little about the basics of their job. Some of you might think thta applies to George W. Bush, but today, we're wondering about Philadelphia Eagles QB Donovan McNabb.
His Eagles, who seem to be a bit overrated at this point in the season, had a difficult time taking out the hapless Cincinnati Bengals yesterday. The game went into overtime, and the Bengals bungled a makeable field goal at the very end of overtime. Game Over, and the game ended up a tie. Everyone knows it, right? Uhhhh.....
During the press conference after the game, McNabb - a 10 year NFL veteran - admitted that he didn't know that there was only one overtime in Pro Football !!! It's a bit ironic, considering that McNabb was in the league six years ago when the last tie game occurred. Honestly, I thought that everyone knew that NFL games have one 15 minute overtime, and that's it. It's a wonder that Eagles fans have so little faith in McNabb - although giving him a real group of wide receivers would help too.
This just in... I found out today that if my technician doesn't finish a car by 5:30PM, it doesn't get finished until the next day...... Wow.

he actually said he didn't know about it and would hate to see what would happen if the super bowl ended in a tie! this guy is supposed to be smart.
You don't have to be smart to know that rules is rules!
