A Robber With a Conscience ?
Time for another one of THOSE stories.. A man walked into Joe's Pond Country Store in West Danville, Vt. , and held up the owner at knifepoint, asking for the money in the cash register. While this may seem cruel and callous, apparently this guy felt at least a little bad....
You see, the robber whispered to the owner, "I'm sorry I have to do this." Then, when the owner asked to let him leave the one dollar bills so the workers on the next shift would have money to make change. The robber agreed, then left....
Apparently, the poor guy was a bit down on his luck, and felt that this was the only way. As the owner said, "This kid could have been shot or gone to jail over a couple hundred bucks. Something is not right."

isn't this when serorities do their inductions, where they have to do something really stupid to get in?
