"In questions of power, then, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution."
- Thomas Jefferson, 1798.
Yet another bone of truth from TJ... The purpose of the Constitution is to give guidelines which give freedoms to it's citizens , and limits to it's elected officials. When one person or any group of people think they are smarter than the Constitution, then we run into trouble. One thing we wouldn't mind having mischief with is yummy Meriah Nelson.... We'll skip the chain, though. We prefer to keep our hands free!
