Going to Savannah for St. Patrick's Day? Don't Go on Monday, Or You'll Be Alone..

We're right around the corner from St. Patrick's Day, that day when everyone is Irish, if only for a day. Savannah is home to the 2nd largest St. Patty's day parade in America, but if you plan on going there on the 17th, you better think again, or you're going to be on the parade route all alone..
Like most of you know, Easter falls very early this year. In fact, it is the same week as March 17th, and since St. Patrick's Day is a religious holiday, leaders were worried that the massive amounts of rinking that occur would send all the participants to Hades, so a change of plans came about...
Therefore, the parade in Savannah will be Friday the 14th at 1000am. That keeps the party on time, without causing the entire city and it's 400,000 guests to go to eternal damnation. Of course, I have to work, so I'll be missing it this year. Next year? You bet....
