Looks Like We're Going All the Way to Denver...

Get Ready, the Democratic Circus Is Coming to Town !!!

If there her is one certainty that we got from yesterday's primaries, it's that there is no certainty - except that the Obama-Clinton race will run all the way to the Convention this summer in Denver. It's gonna get messy.....

Barack Obama had a tough run with trying to win over union guys in Ohio, and Mexicans in Texas - not exactly his core constituency, is it? So, the Hillary wins were no huge surprise, and neither should her winning Pennsylvania in April. She seems to have enough to win the big ticket states, but not enough to take it all.

Then again, neither does Obama. Even if Clinton or Obama were to win 70% of the popular vote for the rest of the primaries, neither will have enough delegates to take it all before the convention. Where does that lead us? To a brokered nomination, and that will be pretty fractious for the democrats. Either Hillary voters will feel that she has been cheated out of 'her turn', or Obama voters will feel robbed of the nomination after winning state after state, and winning the popular vote.

This will be by far the most unbelieveable and memorable convention of our lifetime, hands down. Rules will be changed after this year, and everyone will be asking for decades what this year was like. And the GOP may be licking it's chops after all........
