Hey, maybe I have lost it.... For those of you who live in the Pee Dee , you probably have no idea what I'm talking about. But for those in the Lowcountry, I imagine this thought has crossed your mind once or twice......
There's a local bread maker, and it's called Capt. John Derst's Old Fashioned bread. I guess he was a boat captain in Savannah, but the name Derst makes me think of someone else - Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst.... Everytime I see this stupid bread, I start singing 'Nookie'. On the bag, it has this silhouette of a boat captain, and I can just picture a silhouette of a skinhead in a baseball cap !!
