Say hi to Pa. Congressman Paul Kanjorski.... More correctly, say hi while you can, because he will be going NOWHERE in the Democratic Party.......
Why is he in the Dems Doghouse? Because he admitted on camera that the Democrats underestimated their power, and the effect they would have on the troops in Iraq. Kanjorski let the cat out of the bag that the Democratic leadership - including my congressman - thought that just by winning the majority in the House of Representatives, they could wield enough power to pull all the troops out of Iraq.
Pretty ballsy, don't you think? For those of you paying attention in elementary school, we have this system called check and balances. For all of the gridlock that it may cause by not allowing any one branch of government to be too strong, it also can reign in a runaway Congress, Court or President.....
Is Kanjorski's confession really all that destructive? Of course not, but he committed a lethal error in doing so......... he told the TRUTH !! And that, of course, is something you NEVER do in Congress. Whatever strength he may have had built up over time is now totally wasted. Mybe he could go back to Pa. and run a PetSmart or a NAPA Auto Parts store. Get that resume ready !!!!!
