The High Cost of a Fat America..


Now, I know I could use to lose 10-15 pounds myself, so don't think I'm looking down at America and it's love of eating too much. I saw this MSN Money article on how much each person in America pays extra for being fat - how about $4000 a year per family ? Pretty stunning, eh?
Yep. When you consider the higher insurance premiums, fuel and all the other costs involved, that it what it comes to. If America were healthier and thinner, we would save about $487 Billion - about 3.5% of the entire Gross Domestic Product. Talk about economic stimulus....
