SC Remembers Harvey Korman...

We here at SC6 take a moment before this weekend's big convention to pay tribute to Harvey Korman. Korman passed away this week from an abdominal embolism at the age of 81..
For those of you who think I'm a bit young to remember Korman, think otherwise. I grew up on the Carol Burnett Show as a kid - I've quoted the show before here... Korman worked with some of the best comedians of his day, and added to his TV work by starring in several Mel Brooks movies during his peak in the 1970's.
Korman was not only funny outright, but you could tell he had a natural acting talent. His ability to use that talent for comedy made him even more of a star. As a gift , I found my favorite Korman clip - and it's not 'Blazing Saddles'. It's from Brooks' 1979 film 'High Anxiety'. Click on to the YouTube link, forward to about 3:45 into the clip, and enjoy the next 3 1/2 minutes .......

I heard the news today , oh boy...
What great loss. I loved watching how Korman and Conway would make each other crack up during scenes on the Carol Burnett show. High Anxiety is one of my fav Mel Brooks.....next to Blazing Saddles.Korman will always be remembered for declaring an old Cole Porter song.. "now go do that voodoo that you do so weeeeelllllll!"
