Because Dave Grohl Hasn't Been In Enough Successful Bands Yet ..

If it wasn't almost possible, I would swear that Dave Grohl isn't going to stop playing until every record sold in America is his....... As if being in Nirvana weren't enough to punch a ticket to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, he started Foo Fighters, which has had a run more than twice as long as Nirvana's... While most might rest on their laurels and hang out at his cabin in Virginia, Grohl never rests...

Oh well, another day, another supergroup for Dave. His newest band is Them Crooked Vultures, made up of himself , his buddy Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age, and John Paul Jones. You might remember Jones from a little band called Led Zeppelin. He was the guy adding all the depth and arrangements to Jimmy Page and Robert Plant. They're getting ready to tour as we speak, so check for local shows near you. My guess is Atlanta or Raleigh, but they could end up at the House of Blues. Here's the first single , 'New Fang'...

One of my favorite televised performances ever: the Foos on SNL with Jim Carey on the infamous "leg guitar." The man has incredible balance. "Thanks Jim" indeed.
