SC6 Makes It's Super Bowl Pick ....

Can Drew Brees Get His Team Amped Up For One More Game?
Yep, the Big Game is only about 70 hours away. Colts and Saints, for all the marbles. However, perhaps even more importantly, we have a 4-way tie in the playoff picks, so whoever gets this game right will win it all. P-Luv, Tom and I are all at 5-5, while Moye is at 3-3 after skipping a week, so Moye loses the tiebreaker, unless he is the only one to pick a team. No problem, Moye will have to find solace in knowing that he owns the entire North Side of Lake Marion.......
I you've caught my trend with the pictures on the picks posts, you know who I'm picking already, but we'll give analysis anyway. Aside from the vacation the Saints took at the end of the season, we've seen this coming for awhile. There are two aspects that we think make this a pretty easy choice. First, there's Peyton Manning. The guy hasn't lost all year - he's on a mission, and though he sometimes has trouble in the playoffs, he's ready for that 2nd ring....
That brings us to the second reason - Defense. The Colts actually have one, the Saints really don't, unless you count the entire Vikings offense putting the ball on the turf all game good defense.... They can't depend on Reggie Wayne or Dallas Clark fumbling. Meanwhile, the Colts D isn't spectacular, just very fast. They bend, but they don't break, and that will be the difference in this game. Manning and the Colts will hit paydirt a lot, and Garrett Hartley will be way too visible for Saints fans to tolerate. Then Peyton Manning will once again be on EVERY TV show and commercial until next Super Bowl..... Colts 38-23.

Mike--it's time for the final installment of Leonard's Losers for this year.

Indianapolis Colts vs New Orleans Saints: Peyton Manning and the thundering herd from Indiana head south to sunny Miami to play Drew Brees and boys from New Orleans. This looks to be an aerial shoot out between two of the best quarterbacks in the game today. Don't look for the ponies to have a case of turnoveritus like Minnesota two weeks ago or for Saints to suddenly need an exorism to find the end zone. This game will come down to Drew Brees's arm and Peyton Manning's desire. This time Peyton takes the led over baby brother, Eli, in the quest for the most rings. In a close one Colts over Saints...teg

Tom, we have a 4-way tie, so the winner of the Dusty Lombardi Trophy will be the one with the closest point total for the winning team, so we need a score...
