Today's Founders Quote: An Equal and Impartial Hand

"Even our Commercial policy should hold an equal and impartial hand: neither seeking nor granting exclusive favours or preferences; consulting the natural course of things; diffusing and diversifying by gentle means the streams of Commerce, but forcing nothing; establishing with Powers so disposed; in order to give trade a stable course."

- George Washington, 1796 Farewell Address.

It stuns us sometimes how much a guy who was a Surveyor and General had such a keen sense of Economics.  Government does not need to pick winners. Whether it's farm subidies, oil company tax breaks, or blowing billions because you want to promote green energy, the market will govern whether an industry survives or not.  If it profitable, someone will do it, and someone with money will finance it.  My business went under because I had a crappy business plan, and no cash to do it. So be it.  I moved on. That is how business works, and how it's always worked...

One thing that works for us is 'Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World' star, Anna Kendrick.  We passed on the big boobs and half-nakes asses, and decided to show a hot girl with a brain today.  We apologize for letting some of you down..    :)
