Erection 2008: Barack Hussein Obama Sticks His Green Thumb Into the Presidential Pie ..

"America's Next First Couple?"

Now, before we anoint Obama as the next President, I have some questions. Namely, what has he done to be considered a front runner? Two years as a junior Senator, with no committee chairs or major legislation to his credit. Well, we hear the answer is that his lack of tenure is a credit - that he's an outsider. No thanks , but i'd be more confident of Obama if he had a little more leadership under his belt.

I read an article that references Obama with another junior Senator: John F. Kennedy. It seems that Barack has the gravitas that makes the women swoon, and might get the other half that skips elections to the polls. Maybe.

I don't think Obama has the best timing on this, but I suppose he sees an open door, and perhaps another one closing. The Democrats have a great shot at winning the presidency in 2008, and Obama knows that 2012 will be the incumbent's 2nd run, so what to do then? Wait until 2016? That is forever in politics, and he's taking his shot at it now.

So, what about Hillary now? She thought this was her race to lose, and now she has a candidate that has all the intangibles she lacks for the Democratic base running against her. My guess is that it will get a bit nasty between the two of them in the next year. No one likes to get cut in line, especially in politics. It just got fun - I was worried Joe Biden would win and we'd have 2004 all over again....

Obama, wash those hands, you don't know where that pie haas been (or what's in it)!

As much as ABC's Good Morning America's staff were gushing over Hillary this morning, I was wondering where the campaign ad disclaimer lurked. As much in bed with the Clintons as senior Disney (owner of the ABC network) board memebers proved to be, keep an eye on Soros pet campaign deformation legislation that San Fran Nan is pushing that will violate the first amendment, particularly hushing up back channels like blogs.
