Super Bowl Halftime Switch: Prince is Out, The Democrats are In !!

Pelosi is seen here, singing a solo from the Broadway play, "Annie", and Prince is uh......... whatever.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello announced a major change in the Super Bowl Halftime Show in February. Apparently, they have decided to drop Prince and insert the Democratic House leadership. "Nothing against Prince - he's a star, but the Super Bowl is the biggest event there is, and it deserves the biggest star, and right now, they're it!", said Aiello. 'Nancy Pelosi is everywhere, and I saw Jim Clyburn on Rock Star: Jim Clyburn, and that guy is magic. We had to make the change."

Word is that Pelosi will sing Nancy Sinatra's "These Boots Were Made for Walking", where she will stomp on a pile of Republicans, and Clyburn will once again do his version of "When a Man Loves an Earmark" - his recent take on the Percy Sledge classic. Steny Hoyer is expected to do a Jay-Z medley, but insiders said that it is waiting on Pelosi's approval. It sucks being Number 2.

Although he has been slighted, Prince is taking it all in stride... "It's no big deal, baby. I'm gonna go back to Paisley Park, hang out with Charlie Murphy, play basketball all night, and then make pancakes for breakfast." Prince will miss being at the big game. "The last time I was at the Super Bowl, I had a private box, and it was just me, Sheila E, Carmen Electra and a jar of Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter........ YYYEEEOOWWWW!!!!!".

Despite the tepid entertainment expected, Network officials are taking nothing for granted. "Last time, we had Janet Jackson, so we want this one to go smooth", said CBS Chair Les Moonves. The hope is that we don't see anything like this...........

" MY EYES !!!!! MY EYES !!!!!!!!!"
