Last week, my ex-brother in law and former co-worker Bryan was injured on the job, and sustained 2nd and 3rd degree burns on both his legs. He's still in the hospital, not eating solid food yet, and on 8 tons of meds to keep the pain down.
Bryan is a good guy, so I ask that you take a minute, and add him and his wife in your prayers today.

Mike, where's he hospitalized? Knowing that we no longer have a burn unit in Charleston, I know that Augusta GA might be the next jump up the chain, but I don't know if Florence uses back ups in NC for burns.
They were going to send him to Augusta, but he stayed at Carolinas Hospital.
Then I suspect that the burns aren't critical enough to demand moving up a level for care. It doesn't make the pain any less, it does suggest that recovery and recuperation won't be as long as it could have been.
I already did.
