Is Castro Near Death ??
This is turning out not to be a good year for dictators....... First Augusto Pinochet dies, then Saddam Hussein in hanged while Somali warlords are overrun, now word comes that Cuban strongman Fidel Castro is nearing death from peritonitis.
After 50 years of rule under Castro, Cuba is one of the poorest and least developed nations in all the Western Hemisphere. An economy that thrived with tourism, agriculture and business dried up under his reign, and most Cubans and their American relatives look forward to the day when Castro is gone, and they can go home to a more prosperous country. Here's hope that once Castro is gone, that Cuba can once again be a productive and FREE country.

if he recovers, maybe some of the exiles should invite him to miami for a little Baghdad Hangman.
Naah Earl, just let The Family have the option on casinos, tell them where Fidel and his brother are, then "fuggit aboud it!"
Maybe Chavez would take Cuba as a outpost or something. You know he wants to expand his power base from the continent. Think about it. Cuba will not be easy for sure.
