SC6 Introduces 'What Song Was Playing When Your Parents Made You'. Enter If You Dare !!

Turn Out the Lights.... Take Your Clothes Off, Baby....

No, we're not your average political blog. That's because the captain off the ship has a compass that's a bit off-kilter.. But it does allow us to have posts that other wouldn't think of...or at least print online. It's a gift...

If there's one thing no one wants to know, it's ANY of the details of when their parents did the nasty on the night they were conceived. As far as I know, I wasn't conceived - I was sent down from Klapthor 9 in a Gazmotron Space Pod, whcih crashed into a house in Bay Shore, New York. You weren't so lucky. Your parents had sex, and chances are, it was to some REALLY GOOFY music.

That's where we come in. Thanks to the additonal funding we just got from the upcoming economic stimulus package, we were able to complete out most ambitous project yet - our SC6 Conception Day Music Supercomputer (CDMS) !!!

It's easy. Simply give us your date of birth. We do all the work for you. We take that DOB, adjust it to determine your date of conception, and enter all the info into the SC6 CDMS .... In a mere 12-14 months, out pops the surefire song that was playing when Mom & Pop were exchanging zygotes and other stuff that I have no knowledge of...

I know some of you can't wait to know the results, so I've already gotten your answer. Sorry Moye, i have no idea what your birthdate is. West Rhino, I already know that your DOB is classified information. Here's for a few others of you...

Me

DOC 10/1967... Flower Power is sweeping the country! While it's possible that MOM & Dad were playing Procol Harum's 'Whiter Shade of Pale', this is a more likely pick.

Bobby

DOC 7/1968. The Year That Changed America. I just popped out, but Bob's Mom & Pop were just getting started... 'Sitting on the Dock of the Bay' was a huge hit, but the CDMS says this was the song..

Earl
DOC 5/1970. Music takes a nasty turn towards Acid Rock and Heavy Metal. While I know Earl swears that he was conceived to the strains of Black Sabbath, this one is a direct match on his DOC. The Number One song that week.

Rick
DOC. 7/1983. Heavy Metal makes a comeback, but Michael Jackson, Def Leppard and this band rule the airwaves. It's a bit ironic, because this is the only song by this band he actually likes. It all makes sense now.....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHzLWLFTPPI&feature=related

Ms. X
DOC 12/1983. MJ is starting to decline a bit, Metal is still going strong, but there is a new genre to contend with - The Boy Band. Some people say that fetuses can't hear anything inside the womb, but I think this debunks that theory once and for all. The CDMS really hit the nail on the head on this one.. Who knew?

There, now you all know - even if you didn't want to !! Sleep well....

Based on the guesstimation of the ages of your kids, and the assumption that you were pretty young when you got hitched, the CDMS is coming up with 'The Ballad of Davy Crockett'. Anything before that predates recorded history..........

moye and I might be of the Glenn Miller category...

Might fly for moye, but not quite Rhino's venerable ancestors taste
