It seems that KFC entered into an agreement with Oprah to give away a free meal of their new Kentucky Grilled (and Dry) Chicken on her show. Winfrey gave a web address for viewers to print out a coupon for the meal......... and the insanity began. Everyone in America started going nuts to get as many of the coupons as possible, and to cash them in ASAP. How bad was it? A co-worker asked me to go on the website on my work computer, and print one out. It didn't work. Yes, SOMEONE ELSE at work had already gone on my computer after I left, and went on the site from my IP address !!!! Crazy, man...
It wasn't just here. All across America, there are report of mad rushes for free, dry chicken. No, no reports of violence, but word is KFC was running out of shit left and right... Has the economy gone south so bad that everyone go apey over free dry chicken? Did I mention that Kentucky Grilled Chicken is dry?
