It's past January 1st, and if you're like me, you got a few last minute e-mails for campaign donations before the deadline. It's one of our most favorite times of the year, where we wait patiently for the numbers come in - and staffers send us anonymous comments fir us to get off their asses and giev them more time! It's all fun and games....
Now, from what we know, the cutoff is December 31st, but we couldn't help notice that a couple e-mails came a day or two after. Whoops !! You see, I'll explain the internet kinda like Sen. Stevens would.... It's kinda like baking a pie, or a turkey. You put the e-mail in, and eventually, it the timer pops, and it ends up on the other end. It sometimes takes a little while, and it sure cannot break the Space-Time Continuum and go back in time (we do love our Back to the Future References). There's a little lag time....
So kids, if you want to actually GET last minute contributions, make sure to send them off a day or two ahead, because we sure don't the e-mail and think, "Oh Gosh, I forgot to send off my campaign donations for Christmas!!". Happy New Year, and get those Quarterly Reports filed, 'cause we're waiting !!!!
