Yankee Fans Should Be Glad Obama is Prez?

As Long As Obama Isn't Pitching For Them, History Bodes Well For the Bronx Bombers In the Near Future....
When your team has won 26 World Series titles, it's very hard to find any statistical data to make a logical prediction. But , mixing politics along with baseball cuts down those theories to the point where one can make valid statements , based on that empirical data alone.. So, what the hell did I just say? I don't know......
Remember when we showed the numbers with the Washington Redskins on the game before the election, and thus predicted tha Obama would win the election? Well, it's not the only one. I found a stat that goes back even further than the SC GOP Primary - Party Nomination correlation. This one proves that this could be the New York Yankees year, and if not, it will be very soon. Many of you are now choking in disgust on that thought.
Here's the facts: the New York Yankees have not won a World Series under a Republican president since 1958, when as I was told, Dwight Eisenhower congratulated them via Twitter.... Seriously, that was the last time. Also, they have won a title under ever Democrat president since then, with the exception of Lyndon Johnson, but who can blame them. I'd slack off to avoid having to meet LBJ's daughters if I could too. Face it, folks. The numbers don't lie.
For some of you, this could be too much to bear. Obama as President and the Yankees as reigning champs to some is a bad news double whammy. For us fans of the pinstripes, our country may be going to Hell, but at least we'll have a parade every year. The other bloggers are free to use this info and take credit for finding it.....

Mike-the idea of the Yankees as WSC is about as distasteful as yankees on Tara! But I will go here and make a bold predicton, the Angels will beat the pinstripes; Dodger Blue trumps Philly Red (so no repeat champs) and we have an all LA world series (wish I was back in Malibu for this). Games will start at 10pm and end around the start of the Early Today Show! Gosh we miss our Braves!!...teg
