It's Patriot Parade and Tea Time in Florence ....

That Tea Better Be Sweet, Baby !!!

Things aren't always planned out well , particularly by local governments, but for the past few years, the City of Florence has done one thing right - every Saturday after September 11th, they have our Patriot Parade in downtown Florence. Tomorrow will be no different. It's scheduled to start at 11:00 AM on West Evans Street, and it's a great way to honor all of the people who serve in the military. The Pee Dee definitely does more than it's share when it comes to serving our country, and the Patriot Parade is a fitting gesture....

As soon as that is over, the Florence County GOP will gather at the Florence City-County Complex on N. Irby Street to take part in Tea Party #3. No doubt there will be plenty of speakers, and they'll be cooking hot dogs, in case you get hungry. With the debate on Health Care, Mark Sanford, and Joe Wilson buzzing around, I'm sure there will be plenty to chat about tomorrow. It should all start around 12:30 . See you there ...
