Careful What You Say When Someone Sneezes ....

Yeah, I'm a big Seinfeld fan. I'm pretty sure that I've seen every episode at least 25 times by now. As much of a water cooler show as it was, you do have to be a careful with quoting lines from it. Once, a Miller Exec got canned for telling his secretary about the Delores Clitoris episode - now there is another case......

If you're not familiar with the sneezing episode, we'll go over it real quick for you. Instead of saying 'God Bless You' or 'Gezundheit', Jerry thought it is would be nicer if you told the person 'You're Soooo Good Lookin' ...... Well a female employee told her boss about it, and since he was told by her, he figured it was okay to tell her that whenever she sneezed.... OOPS!

It turns out that she sued for Sexual Harrassment, and he got fired. Was it exclusively for the comment. No, there were some e-mails and he did give her neck massages, which are a big no-no. As a guy who give excellent neck rubs, my advice is to get permission first..... I'm no expert on Sexual Harrassment - or anything sexual for that matter - but if it were based solely on the comment, I doubt it would have mattered. That being said, today's advice is to be careful what you say, and to whom you say it - but you ARE good looking ! Speaking of rubs, this isn't recommended either - especially in the office...
