I'm quite frustrated. Rudy was winning SC and still decided not to contest it. It certainly is a waiste of time for people like me who have been working for months and months for Rudy when he really doesn't even care about competing in our state.

I understand. There's a lot of states that he's got to cover, and conservative voters who were looking for a candidate were settling on Rudy, until Thompson got in. The team is working on winning the big game, and as much as we think it's important, SC doesn't carry a ton of delegates.

It does carry momentum though. If Rudy would have attempted to win Iowa, NH, SC or MI, he would have been a much better candidate in FL and the Feb 5 states.

It is a risky strategy, but that's what the experts on the team think. It's not playing out completely bad so far. Huckabee,Mccain and Romney are up and down depending on the state. Maybe it will work, maybe not..

my opinion i left the romney camp to work with the rudy camp and have not gotten any support for sc. the leader of the rudy camp in sc does not know shit about politics in the south or anywhere else and has done nothing for the cause. i have heard very little from him and feel that he not rudy have let us down.

Well I do agree that our SC leader doesn't know much, but the national leaders have let up on states like NH and SC when they were in good shape.

Agreed. It would have been nice to have gotten more support, but the funds are tight, and that was the strategy.
