Take It Easy Tomorrow.. It's Just an Election.

Here's My Election Day Wish......
I was planning to write this post today anyway, but after I got a pretty nasty comment that questioned what kind of person I am, I decided I needed to write this, especially today.
As we all know, tomorrow is Election Day. Most of us will vote, some of us will not. History will likely be made, and there are a lot of excited people who can't wait to vote. But, there are a lot of people who might see tomorrow as an opportunity to create chaos.
In a week where people are getting shot down the highway for trick-or-treating, I worry a little that there could be incidents that defy what America is all about - freedom. Freedom to vote who want to vote for withour intimidation or fear, freedom to speak. Freedom to malign my character, and freedom for me to call you an asshole.....
I pray that nothing happens at the polls tomorrow, but the potential for trouble is there. There are people who likely care nothing about politics, but their hatred causes them to act irrationally. On the other side, there are some who are so emotionally involved with the idea of an Obama presidency, that their zeal and wanting to win might get the best of them. Stuff happens, especially in this highly charged election year. Both camps have had trouble keeping things civil, what's to keep voters from doing the same - or worse?
Chances are nothing will happen, and it likely will occur that way. So, that is my election wish - that everyone goes out to vote, that we all enjoy each other's being there, and we HAVE FUN disagreeing with each other. And that everyone comes home safe....... Maybe you guys forget now and then, but this blog is for entertainment and information. We take very little in politics seriously, but most of all, we do nothing with hurtful intentions. We will gladly point out things that are stupid, but we don't willfully try to hurt people. Maybe a couple of you need to remember that too.....
GET OUT AND VOTE .....
.

I'll be poll watching at Florence 3 (Beck Center) all day. If you come by there, look for the white guy. Trust me...it will be me.

If you're hanging out at Florence 3, you WILL be The White Guy !!

I'll be working tomorrow as usual. Just taking an early lunch to hit the polls and vote, then it's back to work.

I've never done poll watching - candidates aren't allowed.

It's all relative, and prone to alteration. After this year, Clinton is far from the First Black President.

i was a gop poll observer at 8 precints in clarendon. most precints were ok still did not like the way the democrat poll watchers were working them but it is clarendon and the 6 th district. i walked into panola precient near remini and one of the poll managers told me as soon as i walked in the door that she did not trust me. at bloomville i was told my president in the white house was garbage by the poll manager and he was wearing a D hat. at summerton number two i had to get the poll manager to move a obama/biden sign only twenty feet from the front door. at summerton one the democrats were asking voters on the way out and when they signed in for their names where they could mark them off their list. at davis station the same was going on except they were almost in control of the poll. the gop actually won several precints in clarendon but i bet you several people voted at some polls on the democrat side for other people. america has to come up with a better way of making sure one vote one man one vote one woman for qualified individuals.
