Jackson Browne Sues McCain Over 'Running on Empty'??
John McCain's autumn of discontent continues on - but like he said, he's a fighter, and he's not backing down. At least in his court battle with Jackson Browne. We had a previous post earlier this year on the subject, and while most of the problems seemed to be McCain, they all disappeared after a day or two. Well, Browne took it more seriously....
McCain used a lip of Browne's 70's hit 'Running on Empty' in an ad criticizing Barack Obama's energy policy, and Browne, 60, sued McCain, 72. McCain has taken the suit seriously by filing two 20 page motions to dismiss - one being the fair use clause based on the four-factor test that determines proper use, and the second motion to dismiss based on the fact that Browne is a dick....
Seriously, has anyone heard anything from Jackson Browne in the last 20 years? And that was all about the reports of him beating the shit out of Darryl Hannah until she finally got smart and realized there are better, and younger guys out there.... This whole suit does have a nice circle to it: Jackson Browne beat up Darryl Hannah, who left him for John F. Kennedy Jr., who is often compared to Barack Obama nowadays, who just beat John McCain.... Small world, isn't it?
Yes, this whole suit is stupid, but when you get old and impotent, and your best days are behind you, there is little else to do..

In my golden years the early seventies I seen Mr. Browne at the Columbia Township a very small place he had an accoustic concert pretty much by himself. It was great. The guy is a dick he never grew up.
