A Wish for a Friend of Mine..

I did this a few months ago, when I thought that a friend of mine was having a hard time, but it turned out that I was probably the problem. Things are better now, but it seems that things are pretty tough again for my buddy. So, I got this present for that person. My support.....
Life is tough. Work is rarely fun, the economy stinks, and the people we love aren't always around to support us. I can speak from experience on this. I shouldn't have ever been born by normal standards, two of my grandparents were already gone, the other two were gone by my 16th birthday. By 22, my Mom was as well, leaving me basically parentless with a Dad who blames me for my Mom dying. I understand stress and and the real possibility of loss...
Sometimes life feels like a neverending bad trip, but you fight through it, and eventually, things happen that make the fighting all worth it... I don't have any magic words of wisdom to make it all go away, but I will say this: right now is the time for you to be strong and focused, to be there for those who need your help, and to know that there are others ready to be there for you - and not just me.
I've played videos before - some were good, some sent the wrong message. Such is the risk of letting others says things for you. I'm picking this one because I think it expresses the gift I''m trying to send: Life is hard, but chin up, I'm there for you. I wish I got stuff like this for me !!

Funny, a friend sent me this same link a month or so ago to help me get over the ending of a relationship. I will say it helped to know that I have great friends out ther to lean on. I am sure your friend feels the same way.

Coldplay??? you picked a Coldplay song??? I'm disappointed in you Mike Reino! ok...not really.

Ya know Coldplay, along with the Counting Crows have something in common. They both make you want to slit your wrist and follow your dreams at the same time.

It's been very quiet on the blog lately. Can't anyone talk about anything other than Politics? Let loose!!!

The weekends are generally pretty quiet on the blog. People are doing other stuff, but they usually come back on Monday.

So I am sitting in the library and decided to check out the blog, and of course you have a picture of huge chesticles above one of the recent posts...normally this wouldn't be a problem, but now the librarian thinks I'm looking at porn. Just kidding!

btw, should I not comment on any of the blogs to avoid you getting in trouble with your stalker?

well I got to go to class, have a good hump day!

Tell the librarian to get her book filing dirty mind out of the gutter...OK,maybe it wasn't the best thing to put on there, but boobies sell!!

Absolutely do not stop commenting. I can handle any complaints from Liz. Sorry it took a while to check in - very busy today, but that leads to nice bonus checks..

See ya soon..
