Wall Street Starts To Get the Message....

Banks Exec's Forego 2008 Bonuses.......
Maybe after the last few months of begging Washington for financial rescue, only to keep wasting money on trips, conferences amd other perks, Wall Street is getting the hint: If you want taxpayer money, quit wasting it..... Today was the first sign that perhaps it's starting to hit home a little. Goldman Sachs announced today that they would not be giving their usual annual bonuses to CEO Lloyd Blankfein and six other top execs. This is no small potatoes we're talking about here. The estimated value of the bonuses were going to be in the neighborhood of $300 Million. For seven guys... Damn!!!
It gives you an idea of how much cash Wall Street has flying around, and how overpaid some of these guys are. I can think of any job important enough to pay an employee $68 like Blankfein got paid last year. It seems to be catching on, because UBS announced a similar plan ,and hopefully there'll be more. Nice of you guys to finally get it.....

I would rather be paid less and not have the stress. What good is it to have alot of money, but be in bad health.
