Welcome to the Healthiest City in America ??

The Healtiest City From the Same Place as Ben & Jerry's ??
Time for one of those kooky "Best Place in America" stories. Funny, South Carolina never makes any of these lists - except Charleston has cornered the market on "Friendliest City in America".... I don't know, I had some pretty big A-holes for customers in Chucktown....
This one is for 'Healthiest City in America', and this year's winner was Burlington , Vermont. I think it's a bit ironic that the healthiest city is from the same area as Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream - perhaps the most artery-clogging concoction on the planet... But it is SO GOOD.....
How does this happen? Easy. The survey, given by the Centers for Disease Control in Hotlanta, was based on how the residents FELT healthwise. About 92% of Burlington's residents felt that they were in good or great health. Not that they actually are.... In short, Burlingtonians (?) feel good, and that's all that matters. So, here's to a pair of Vermont's healthiest guys - or two guys playing them..

Well CDC sometimes does, when feeling its oats, use a dubious statistical base when offering an officious report. Witness the inclusion of 18-23 year olds in the fierarms deaths stats that Rush ripped a few years ago.

Wonder how the same statistical base would respond to "how do you feel about being lied to about teh economic stimilus package?"

Sounds like a variation on 'Drinking the Kool-Aid'. 'Eating the Ben & Jerry's' ?

i did drink the kool aid not quite like they did down in jonestown thirty years ago. i really should had said moderate. i also believe that we should not support a business or group that is so much against of if we have a choice. that includes movies with actors that are against us. abc nbc cbs cnn the list goes on. at times we have to but i certainly try to put my money where my mouth is when i can that is why i drive a buick

That is how you support/don't support a company - with your own money, not tax dollars.
