ANOTHER One of THOSE Stories: What Does SPAM, The World Series and PETA Have TO DO With One Another? Find Out Here..

Poor Shane Victorino..... Who? Shane Victorino, the star player for the Philadelphia Phillies. The guy is in PETA's doghouse, all for answering one stupid question: what is your favorite food...
Victorino, who is a native of Hawaii, has a soft spot for SPAM Musubi, which is kinda like sushi, but with SPAM, which is a big hit on the Islands. It must be great with pineapple... Anyway, when word of it got to PETA, they freaked out, as usual. PETA has a big beef with Hormel, the makes of the canned pork, uh.... stuff. It seems that Hormel hasn't figured out a humane way to kill and can a pig yet.
PETA wrote a letter to Victorino to try and get him to stop eating his favorite food. Good Luck, idiots. Baseball players are the guys who wear their caps backwards and eat chicken every single day for good luck. They are the most superstitious guys in the world !! The guy is getting ready for the World Series, and you want him to stop eating SPAM? Why not make him switch gloves or try a new bat?
And what does Victorino have to say about this whole thing? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. He and the Phillies are not speaking about SPAMgate until after the Series. Sounds like they have bigger fish to fry..... I mean SPAM to fry. Time to show my Geezerness again......

I like spam with Mac and Cheese. It is good fried, but very salty. So I don't have it often. Using it as a charm, I think is a bunch of Hog wash.

I've done the SPAM w/ Mac n' Cheese thing too...Using it as a charm? That's a new one to me, unless it was a can of SPAM that Greg Brady was wearing when he crashed surfing in Hawaii.....
