SC6 Missing Persons Report: What Ever Happened to SC's Version of Jared ??

We Have An All Points Bulletin Out On Clay Henry......
I was watching one of Subway's '$5 Footlong' Ads today...... BTW, Jared needs to know that Subway is trying everything to not use him anymore, and they might finally have it. Thinking of Jared, I then wondered, "What Happened to that OTHER GUY?'' . It took me about ten minutes to even remember his name: Clay Henry.
For those of you who don't remember, Clay Henry had a Subway ad too. It had a goofy jingle with it, like an Old Western song. More importantly here, Henry was a fireman from Columbia... Why Henry didn't stick like Jared is a mystery....
Paranoid Southerners would say that Henry was biased because he was from the South... Some might think that Jared had him whacked for cutting in on his gig. Perhaps using a fireman right after 9/11 was in bad taste hurt too... Of course, the bad jingle may have driven viewers insane, the fact that a competitors name is Firehouse Subs could be a bit confusing, or that Henry quit the subs and is now weighs a metric ton are all possibilities.. Honestly, i don't know where henry is, or what happened to him. It's as though he disappeared from the Earth....
Those of you who are buddies from the Columbia area might do me a favor. Do some peeking around and let me know where he is.. If you need a description of him, use this.....

Clay Henry still lives in Columbia. He is no longer a firefighter. In fact, he and his wife recently had their first child and Clay is Mr. Mom.

Clay actually did the celebrity "D" list thing for about 2 years. That ad campaign launced right before he was set to graduate from USC and he was able to make a "job" out of it for a while.

You'll recall, there was another commercial cut, with some woman, who actually came off as a bit of a Jared Stalker. That one came out the same time as Clay's but did not last long.

Of course, Clay's was after 9/11, and the fact that he was a firefighter led to his kind of blowing up a bit and getting a lot more attention than Subway or he ever thought. Plus, Clay is athletic and interested in sports, so he was the one Subway sent to more athletic events: like charity softball/basketball games and he even ran in a marathon or two.

FWIW, Clay was around Jared a lot and says the he is a really nice guy.

I've known Clay and his brother for over ten years. They are really good guys. We all tailgate together, so if you are going to go to a Carolina game drop me a line. I'll let you know where our spot is and you can stop by and meet the Henrys.

BTW, I enjoy your blog, although we are opposites politically. I've decided to at least attempt my own, we'll see how it goes.

It's amazing sometimes... maybe I have more readers than I thought. I definitely wasn't expecting an answer this fast, but I do appreciate it. Tell Clay that people still ask about him.

As far as the blog, you have NO IDEA what you're getting into. Quit before it takes over your life !!!! It's 830, and I should be relaxing, but instead, I'm writing another post because i've only done two so far today...

Glad I read further, it looked like the "Ambigiously Gay Duo" at first glance.
