Who Did I Think Won the Debate? Does It Matter?

The One Certainty? There Will Be No October Surprises......
Round Two is now over, and once again, I didn't make it all the way through it..... My Election Funk is still in full bloom - I'm kinda tired, and it's now at the point where I give the answers before the candidates are..... It's like watching a movie that you've seen 100 times before, but it wasn't that great even the first time you saw it.
In short, neither Obama or McCain really made any headway towards their winning the Presidency. Of course, that favors Obama. He has the lead and the Mojo. I wasn't expecting either one to debate the issues much better than the other. They've had too much practice to mess up at this point. However, with all the importance riding on the paramount second debate, i was waiting on one thing - who would drop the October Surprise.
If you are unfamiliar with the term, an October Surprise, it is used to describe an earth-shattering revelation that ruins a candidate's campaign.. Swift Boat, Willie Horton, Dan Quayle..... You get the meaning. With an expected TV audience of 50-70 million viewers, last night was the time to do it. It never happened.
This tells me one thing: Both candidate's shotgun barrels are empty. All the dirt they've been throwing - Rev Wright, Bill Ayres, The Keating Five - were all tossed around during the primaries. Clearly, both camps couldn't find anything new to attack their opponent, which means one thing - the next 26 days are going to be very repetitive and boring..... What the hell am I going to blog about now? I'll figure something out...

I know one who, if we let him in will create more havoc then, then there is now. COME ON PEOPLE! WAKE UP!! Change is not always the best solution. We are our worst enemy!

October suprise, Dr. Jerry Corsi held hostage in Kenya by Obama's "tribal cousin" to keep the truth about Obama's citizenship buried... maybe Hillary can pre-empt Barry Hussein Obama and still blame the GOP.

change...the lack of it is why SC is so far behind in alot of areas in this country. sounds like you need to wake up and quit living in teh past anon. Oh, I forgot, the Civil War is still going on.
Don't even get me started on all of the skelatons in McCain's closet. You can all drop it about Obama because there is just as much bullshit attached to McCain. The truth is, none of it is relevant to running this country.
