Yesterday was the Fourth of July, and with the cookouts and fireworks, we have one other tradition: The Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest. Last year, newcomer Joey Chestnut of the US came in and beat 6-time winner Takeru Kobayashi of Japan. It truly was a great day for America.....
Well, the two met again yesterday - and it wasn't pretty. After 10 minutes, the two each ate 59 of those garlic-laden pork wonders, along with the buns. So , what do you do? What else - overtime. It was truly a moment out of 'Dodgeball'. A five-dog eatoff, winner take all.....
In the end, Chestnut came out strong and beat Kobayashi in the end, and America rejoiced.... Our economy may be in the dumper right now, but if we can keep the important things, like the ability to gorge massive amounts of overprocessed food, we cannot lose - and the world trembles in fear..... Here's a clip from the carnage. It is truly disgusting........
