Forget about Soccer Moms and NASCAR Dads...... There is a hot voters trend coming , and apparently it bodes well for John McCain. See, there is one demographic he's winning....
It's .... uh.... Pet Owners. Don't ask why, but AP-YahooNews took a poll among American pet owners, and McCain holds a 42-37 edge. So, now Team McCain has a new campaign strategy - forcign EVERY American to adopt a pet !!! There you go, case closed. McCain wins.
Why the edge? Well, john McCain and his family have 24 different pets, while Barack Obama doesn't even have freaking cat.. Not even a stray eating bugs off of his back porch.. He has said that he's going to buy his daughters a dog after the election, but I think it's BS. Remember back in '92 , when Bush 41 talked about how much he hates Broccoli? Imagine the outrage that ould ensue if you were running for President, and you said " I'm not having some flea-bitten dog crapping all over the White House on my shift' ??
The American Kennel Club has made a list of dogs suitable for the Obama's. Their suggestions? Bichon Frise, Chinese Crested, Poodle, Wheaten Terrier or a Schnauzer. Can you believe it - not a Rottweiler or a Pit Bull listed. They can have my Dingo....
Sure, its a silly demographic , but before you laugh, know that over 63% of all American households own a pet of some sort.... Dumber things have happened....

I guess the reason we love our pets, have faith in God and keep our guns is still that we're just bitter and angry. Maybe (as one of your later posts suggests) Bill Clinton will let Barry Obama take the b!#ch as a pet. Maybe Bloomie would give up the mayoral spot to run for senate.
Interesting. If Hillary does end up as Number 2 (pun intended), I would think Bloomberg could go to DC....
